You can update to 2.60b or use my workaround.

To use it start the ET-server like this:
LD_PRELOAD="./download_exploit_protector.so" ./etded.x86 ...


or set the variable in the start script with:

export LD_PRELOAD="./download_exploit_protector.so"
and only then it's allowed to start the server.

Set the complete path to the file.


Tested with ET 2.55, I am NOT responsible for problems of any kind. It's a workaround and if it not works update to 2.60b.

Entweder könnt ihr auf 2.60b fixen oder meinen Workaround nutzen.

um ihn zu nutzen startet et server folgendermaßen: 
LD_PRELOAD="./download_exploit_protector.so" ./etded.x86 ...


oder setzt die Umgebungsvariable im start script mit

export LD_PRELOAD="./download_exploit_protector.so"
und anschließend darf erst der server gestartet werden.

natürlich solltet ihr den kompletten pfad zum file angeben.


Getestet wurde er unter ET 2.55, für Probleme alle Art hafte ich nicht. Es ist ein Workaround und wenn dieser nicht funktioniert, muss eben auf 2.60b gepatcht werden.
